You Can’t Trust Egypt
The world's wisdom and methods present themselves as reliable and stable. They quote doctors and scientists and tell us why we should trust them. The problem is . . . the wisdom of man is foolishness. God is reliable, the world is NOT. God is faithful. Egypt is NOT.

Egypt is NOT Faithful
It's easy to rely on the "tried and true" traditions of what we have always known or how we have always lived. The problem is that those "tried" traditions are not always "true". The world's way of doing things in NOT 100% faithful. The world may tell you that they are faithful, and your friends may tell you that the world is faithful. . . but to tell the truth . . . EGYPT is NOT faithful. In the bible, Egypt is representative of the world's provision and man's way of doing things. When you trust in the world to provide for you, though, you will nearly always end up a slave in need of a savior.

When You Consider God Faithful, the Rest is Easy
One way to tell if you consider God to be 100% faithful, is to see if you have rest. If you are uneasy, or don't really have peace about something that you have been praying about or expecting God to do, then you clearly AREN'T fully persuaded. There is a peace that comes with being confident that your needs are met before you even ask. There is a distinct un-peace that comes with wondering if you've done enough to get God to move.
